Book of 2 Kings ~ Almost ate poisioned pot of stew

II Kings 4:38-41 (NKJV)

[38] And Elisha returned to Gilgal, and there was a famine in the land. Now the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said to his servant, “Put on the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”
[39] So one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered from it a lapful of wild gourds, and came and sliced them into the pot of stew, though they did not know what they were.
[40] Then they served it to the men to eat. Now it happened, as they were eating the stew, that they cried out and said, “Man of God, there is death in the pot!” And they could not eat it.
[41] So he said, “Then bring some flour.” And he put it into the pot, and said, “Serve it to the people, that they may eat.” And there was nothing harmful in the pot.

Book of Ezra ~ Articles belonging to the Temple

Ezra 1:5-10 (NKJV)

[5] Then the heads of the fathers’ houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and the Levites, with all whose spirits God had moved, arose to go up and build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.
[6] And all those who were around them encouraged them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.
[7] King Cyrus also brought out the articles of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken from Jerusalem and put in the temple of his gods;
[8] and Cyrus king of Persia brought them out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.
[9] This is the number of them: thirty gold platters, one thousand silver platters, twenty-nine knives,
[10] thirty gold basins, four hundred and ten silver basins of a similar kind, and one thousand other articles.

Book of Matthew ~ Jesus Walks on the water

Matthew 14:22-27 (NKJV)

[22] Immediately Jesus made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, while He sent the multitudes away.
[22] And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.
[23] But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.
[25] Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.
[26] And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out for fear.
[27] But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”

Book of John ~ Lazarus came out of the tomb alive

John 11:38-44 (NKJV)

[38] Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it.
[39] Jesus said, “Take away the stone.”
Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
[40] Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”
[41] Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.
[42]And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.”
[43] Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
[44] And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”

Book of II Corinthians ~ Right time for Salvation

II Corinthians 5:20-6:2 (NKJV)
[20] Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
[21] For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

II Corinthians 6:1-2 (NKJV)

[1] We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
[2] For He says:
“In an acceptable time I have heard you,
And in the day of salvation I have helped you.”
Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Book of Mark ~ Parable of the Growing Seed

Mark 4:26-29 (NKJV)

[26] And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,
[27] and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.
[28] For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head.
[29] But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

Book of Exodus ~ The bush did not burn up

Exodus 3:1-4 (NKJV)

[1] Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
[2] And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. [3] Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”
[4] So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”
And he said, “Here I am.”

Book of Act ~ All the prison doors opened

Acts 16:22-26 (NKJV)

[22] Then the multitude rose up together against them; and the magistrates tore off their clothes and commanded them to be beaten with rods.
[23] And when they had laid many stripes on them, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them securely.
[24] Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks.
[25] But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
[26] Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.

Book of Matthew ~ It will be fair weather

Matthew 16:1-3 (NKJV)

[1] Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven.
[2] He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’;
[3] and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.

Book of Isaiah ~ God Whistles

Isaiah 7:18-19 (NKJV)

[18] And it shall come to pass in that day
That the LORD will whistle for the fly
That is in the farthest part of the rivers of Egypt,
And for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
[19] They will come, and all of them will rest
In the desolate valleys and in the clefts of the rocks,
And on all thorns and in all pastures.

Isaiah 5:26 (NKJV)

[26] He will lift up a banner to the nations from afar,
And will whistle to them from the end of the earth;
Surely they shall come with speed, swiftly.

Book of Joshua ~ Rahab hides the spies

Joshua 2:1-5 (NKJV)

[1] Now Joshua the son of Nun sent out two men from Acacia Grove to spy secretly, saying, “Go, view the land, especially Jericho.” So they went, and came to the house of a harlot named Rahab, and lodged there.
[2] And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, “Behold, men have come here tonight from the children of Israel to search out the country.”
[3] So the king of Jericho sent to Rahab, saying, “Bring out the men who have come to you, who have entered your house, for they have come to search out all the country.”
[4] Then the woman took the two men and hid them. So she said, “Yes, the men came to me, but I did not know where they were from.
[5] And it happened as the gate was being shut, when it was dark, that the men went out. Where the men went I do not know; pursue them quickly, for you may overtake them.”
