Book of Genesis: First surgery on a human

Genesis 2:20-22 (NKJV)

[20] So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.

[21] And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.

[22] Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.

Book of Ecclesiastes: A little birdie told me

Ecclesiastes 10:20 (NKJV)

[20] Do not curse the king, even in your thought;

Do not curse the rich, even in your bedroom;
For a bird of the air may carry your voice,
And a bird in flight may tell the matter.

Book of Daniel: Living in the fields like an animal

Daniel 4:24-25 (NKJV)

[24] this is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the Most High, which has come upon my lord the king:

[25] They shall drive you from men, your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make you eat grass like oxen. They shall wet you with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over you, till you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.

Book of Numbers: When a donkey spoke

 Numbers 22:28-30 (NKJV)

[28] Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”

[29] And Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!”

[30] So the donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever disposed to do this to you?”

Book of 2 Kings: They bullied a man of God and died

2 Kings 2:23-25 (NKJV)

[23] Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up the road, some youths came from the city and mocked him, and said to him, “Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!”

[24] So he turned around and looked at them, and pronounced a curse on them in the name of the Lord. And two female bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the youths.

[25] Then he went from there to Mount Carmel, and from there he returned to Samaria.

Book of Luke: Anna served God day and night

Luke 2:36-38 (NKJV)

[36] Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity;

[37] and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

[38] And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

Book of Isaiah: Hezekiah wasn't ready to die

Isaiah 38:2-5 (NKJV)

[2] Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord

[3] and said, “Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what is good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

[4] And the word of the Lord came to Isaiah, saying,

[5] “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years.

Book of Malachi: Are you robbing God?

Malachi 3:8-12 (NKJV)

[8] “Will a man rob God?
Yet you have robbed Me!
But you say,
‘In what way have we robbed You?’
In tithes and offerings.
[9] You are cursed with a curse,
For you have robbed Me,
Even this whole nation.
[10] Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.

[11] “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,
So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,
Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”
Says the Lord of hosts;
[12] “And all nations will call you blessed,
For you will be a delightful land,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
